“For baby mama trends, I don’t do trends” – Koredo Bello

Popular Nigerian singer and Mavin Record signee, Koredo Bello, had revealed his plans not to follow the trend like other celebrities who have baby mama’s in the music industry.

The singer during a chat with Legit. ng also disclosed that he does not have plans to get married soon as he insisted on being himself in the music industry, adding that, he believes in marriage only if his partner sees it as a thing of partnership.

According to his words while enunciating about the baby mama said, “For baby mama trends in the music industry, I don’t do trends. I like being me. That notwithstanding, I believe in marriage; If your definition of marriage is a partnership then yes!”

Korede Bello maintains that, if allowed to turn back the hands of time, he would have loved to make a change to a whole lot of things. Stating that, he might not be able to change the past but he believes he can still influence the timeline of the future by taking advantage of the present.

He said, “Ah! If I could turn back the hands of time there’re a lot of things I would love to change but I guess there’s a reason we can’t do that because what will be will eventuality find a way of being. I might not be able to change the past but I can still influence the timeline by taking actions in the present that can change the future. So if I could, I would travel back in time and tell myself that I have the power to change the future with my thoughts and actions.”

The singer also explained how the pandemic has drastically affected his brand and how he has managed to strategize new ways to reach his fans. He said, his plans at the beginning of last year was to go on a tour to introduced his re-branded self to his fans before the Covid. According to him, he had to restrategize to come up with Micasa Sucasa, which means ‘my house is your house, adding that, with the help of TikTok, he was able to target a global virtual audience.

The ‘Table For Two’ crooner went further explaining how through his initiative, were able to establish a mental health foundation known as KBI which main focus is on celebrities’ mental health, adding that, it doesn’t matter how much money or fame you acquire, you need good health to enjoy it.

In his words regarding KBI, he said, “It was established when I realized that it doesn’t matter how much money or fame you acquire, you need good health to enjoy it. Especially mental health. So that’s why I started advocating for mental wellness as a priority. Nothing works effectively when our mental health is threatened.”
