FAAC Banned Two Immigration Officers From Airports For Extorting N8000 From Teenager

The Federal Airport Authority Of Nigeria has restricted two officers of the Nigerian Immigration Service from its airports.

The two officers were banner for extorting from a 14-year-old passenger of N8000, an incident that happened in February 2022.

Mrs. Faithful Hope-Ivbaze, the Acting General Manager, Corporate Affairs, made this known in a statement on Friday, March 18, 2022.

The acting-general manager said the mother of the passenger, a chef, Imoteda, had put up a statement about the actions of the officials in February, and upon examination, the reports were found to be true.
