Popular Instagram comedian, Mr. Jollof, has cautioned Christians regarding their first salary of the year.
He said they should not send their first salary of the year to their pastors as seed money, instead, he advised them to send it to their parents.
This is coming because it has become a common practice among pastors in Nigeria who advise their members to always sow seed with their first salaries at the beginning of the year.
Mr. Jollof said this in a video post that was shared on Instagram on Tuesday, January 4, 2021, by Mabeldanqua and was seen by Goldennationblog.com.
According to the video post, Mr. Jollof alleged that people should stop giving their first salary of the year to their pastor as seed money alleging that it is better to give it to their parents.
In his words, he stated that such a gesture would be in their favor as it will bring more blessings to them more than a pastor who has more than the person giving him.
The comedian also added that if it will be difficult to give out their January salary, the person can use it to attend to his or her financial issues instead of giving it out as a seed.
