Nigerian superstar and DMW boss, David Adedeji Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, has again caused a commotion on social media since the release of his music video on the song title ‘La La’ featuring another sensational Afropop singer, CKay.
The music video was shot in a stadium sporting Davido playing a football match alongside some other celebrities most especially the artists signed to his DMW record label and CKay.
The song ‘La La’ is the number 12 track among the songs in Davido’s album “A Better Time”.
While announcing the release of the music video on Thursday, April 29, Davido stated that “Creating this music video was an amazing experience, my whole career one thing I’ve always preached in my own words is “ We Rise by lifting others”! So in my little way, meet some of my friends all having fun doing something we all enjoy! #ABT #LaLa @ckay_yo you ready???
Again, social media users had taken it upon themselves to analyze and praise the singer for his creativity and concept while making music videos.
According to a user on Twitter @DanielRegal said, “I applaud the creativity behind Davido’s “La La” video, it’s not like most regular videos & the fact he used it promote other celebs especially upcoming artistes is exemplary. La La music video also reminds me of Shakira’s “Waka Waka” music video, it’s simple but entertaining.”
Another user, @Davidobrother said, “I am a wizkid fan but after watching this video can we now agree that Ckay is bigger than wizkid. Honest wizkid fan”
