The Nigerian singer, Davido, has hinted at a possible joint extended play (EP) with his colleague, Kizz Daniel.
In a recent social media post, Davido disclosed that a joint project could be in the works after he releases his next album.
The announcement follows the success of their remix of Kizz Daniel’s hit song, ‘Twe Twe’. Before this, the duo had collaborated on Kizz Daniel’s 2018 hit, ‘One Ticket’. Both artists have attained considerable success, locally in Nigeria and on the global stage.
In March 2023, Davido rebranded his music label and launched a new era, DMW 2.0. He also announced the signing of Olori and Morravey to his record label. Last year, Davido received his first-ever nomination for the Grammy Awards in three categories, including ‘Best Global Album’ for his latest album, ‘Timeless’.
The other categories were ‘Best African Performance’ for his song ‘Unavailable’ and ‘Best Global Music Performance’ for his track ‘Feel’. However, he did not win in any of his categories at the just-concluded Grammy Awards.
On the other hand, Daniel gained fame in 2014 with his debut single, ‘Woju’, and has since released other chart-topping hits such as ‘Lie’, ‘Buga’, and ‘Mama’. He has received numerous awards and accolades for his music.
