Nigerian singer Portable, known for his controversial public persona, is making headlines once more after a disturbing video surfaced online. The clip shows the artist, whose real name is Habeeb Okikiola, aggressively confronting and ordering his associates to assault a car dealer.
In the Instagram live video, Portable is seen interrogating the dealer, who is sitting on the floor, about the delay in delivering his new vehicle. According to the singer, he had been waiting for the car, which was supposed to arrive from the United States, for over two weeks. Portable accused the dealer of providing false information and excuses, including a claim that the vehicle was seized by customs—a claim he later disproved.
Portable’s frustration is palpable as he demands, “Where is my car? I will destroy your life. Do you want to kill me or scam me?” He elaborated on the situation, explaining that the dealer had misled him and failed to meet agreed-upon delivery schedules, leading to his decision to confront the dealer personally.
This incident is the latest in a series of public altercations involving Portable. Just earlier this week, he faced backlash after physically attacking a man who was preaching at his bar. This follows a string of controversies, including his recent arrest by Lagos police over unpaid debts related to a G-Wagon purchase and a previous altercation with content creator Kesari Okala.
The video of Portable’s latest confrontation has reignited discussions about his behavior and public image. The singer, who rose to fame with his hit single “Zazoo Zeh” in December 2021, continues to attract media attention for his increasingly erratic and violent outbursts.
