Nigerian afrobeat superstar, Damini Ebunoluwa Ogulu professionally known as Burna Boy has appeared on the latest episode of Late Night With Seth Meyers.
The singer performed ‘Way Too Big’ from his 2020 album, ‘Twice As Tall’.

Backed by a live band, the Nigerian singer oozed confidence as he relayed the song’s themes of his run-in with success in the music industry, singing “I’m way too big/Way too big to be fucking with you, to be fucking with you/Because I’m way too smart/Way too smart to be falling in your trap”.
Twice as Tall landed in August 2020. The album features a number of notable guests, including Coldplay’s ,Chris Martin, Stormzy, Youssou N’Dour, and more.
As well as ‘Way Too Big’, the album featured the lead single ‘Wonderful’ along with 13 other tracks.
In October 2020, Burna Boy released ’20:10:20′, a tribute to protesters in his native Nigeria who were killed in the Lagos massacre at the city’s Lekki Toll Gate.
In the song, Burna Boy condemned the police brutality by the defunct Special Anti-Robbery Squad (SARS).
Providing a statement at the time of the song’s release, Burna Boy said, “The proceeds of this song will be used to support families of victims and people suffering affliction as a result of the Lekki shootings.
“Rest in peace to all the beautiful lives lost.”
Burna Boy clinched the award for Best International Act at the 2020 MOBO Awards last month.
