After many assumptions and accusations in Big Brother Naija’s house, Mara and Pere have been revealed as the Wildcards of the “Shine Ya Eye” edition.
The two housemates were revealed after the Diary Room session where the Housemates were invited to make their predictions.
Within the week show, both Wildcards did a good job of blending in with the rest of the Housemates in the House. For Maria, it was all about vigorously partaking in the Task and making sure her voice is heard. Pere took a more laid-back strategy in the House. Right from his friendship with the rest of the guys to casually having discussions with the rest of the Housemates and even on course to nurturing a romantic partnership with Jackie B, he had his cover well maintained. His military experience must have come into play here. On a few occasions, both Wildcards spearheaded discussions about who the possible Wildcards were and pinpointed other Housemates as likely suspects. Speak about hurling people off your essence.
Maria was extremely shocked to discover there was another Wildcard in the House during her discussion with Biggie in the Diary Room. When asked if she knew who it was, she correctly suspected, Pere.
Meanwhile, she was worried that she had to fabricate and bolster a pretense with the other Housemates but she was optimistic she pulled it off. Pere on the other hand was pleased when he heard the disclosure of another Wildcard and thought it was either Maria or Nini.
