Music streaming platform, Audiomack has announced a new feature into its service that will enable fans to support the music artists they love directly.
The new feature called ‘Audiomack Supporter’ is a new way for fans to become champions. This was made known on the Audiomack website on Tuesday, December 7, 2021.
The Audiomack Supporters features create a new revenue stream for artists and an exclusive connection between creators and fans by allowing listeners to directly contribute to releases.
The new features also enable Creators to have direct access to top fans where they can message them directly on Audiomack.
According to Dave Macli, Audiomack co-founder, and, he said “With Supporters, Audiomack is treating artists as they see themselves – as entrepreneurs building profitable careers. Supporters create brand new monetization opportunities for creators while bringing dedicated fans closer to the music and artists they love.”
He also said, what Supporters mean for fans to become a part of your favorite music. Champion the artists you love by directly supporting their work and careers.
He added that the feature enables you to display your fandom. Stamp your name on a release, and unlock shareable trophies to showcase your support to the world.
How it works, first, one needs to update the Audiomack app to the latest version to access Supporters, and to support a song or album, simply tap to contribute as you listen, where you listen.
Again, fans can purchase support badges tied to a song or album. The artists earn more revenue, while the fan is permanently associated with the supported release. The artists can directly message their supporters to show love and share links for exclusive content and offerings (merch links, concert tickets, unreleased music, and more).
