The Chief Whip of Ethiope East Local Government, Hon. Eyanu Oghenemarho Kingsley, has praised the Chairman of the local government, Hon. Chief Augustine Ogedegbe, for working hard and making life better for the people.
In a message shared with journalists, Hon. Eyanu said that Hon. Ogedegbe is a great leader who is doing things that have never been done before in Ethiope East. He said the Chairman is not just sitting in the office, but doing the work to help the people.
Hon. Eyanu explained that under Hon. Ogedegbe’s leadership, many important projects have been completed or are still going on. Some of these include:
- Repairs and upgrades at the Local Government Secretariat (the main office building)
- Clean-up of public places like the Abraka Main Market
- Fixing and equipping health centres so people can get better care
- Making roads better and safer
- Bringing back learning in nursery schools
- Renovation of the main administrative building in Ethiope East
He said all of these are signs that Hon. Ogedegbe listens to the people and truly wants to help.
Hon. Eyanu also mentioned that all these achievements have happened in less than a year, showing that Hon. Ogedegbe is not just talking about change — he is making it happen.
“Being a leader is not just about having the title, it’s about helping people,” Hon. Eyanu said. “Chairman Ogedegbe is showing that he cares about the people by doing real work.”
He also called on everyone in Ethiope East, both those living there and those living in other places (diaspora), to keep supporting the Chairman so that the local government can keep getting better and become more known across Nigeria.
