As tributes continue to pour over the unfortunate passage of a one-time member of the House of Representatives representing Ika federal constituency and Akinuwa of Agbor Kingdom in Ika south, Hon Dr Chief Cairo Ojougboh, a one-time Deputy Chief of stuff to then Delta Deputy Governor and Onishe (kingmaker) of Ubulu uku kingdom, Chief Emma Ejiofor, has described the deceased as an organized and exceptional gentleman who impacted on his people and performed creditably on assignments within his sphere of influence.
Chief Emma Ejiofor, in a condolence message in Ubulu uku, Aniocha South, said as a politician, first a federal lawmaker representing his lka federal constituency, and as Akinuwa of Agbor Kingdom, excelled in his duties to the admiration of all and sundry.
While lamenting the unfortunate passing on of the one time Executive Director ( Projects), of the Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC) and All Progressive Congress ( APC) stalwart while watching the semi-final encounter between South Africa,s Bafana Bafana and Nigeria’s Super Eagles during the just concluded AFCON 2024 in Bouake, Cote D’lvoire, Chief Ejiofor said Deltans in particular, and Nigerians in general, have lost one of the most exceptionally cerebral and result oriented team players, whose exit spells the end of an era of unblemished service to fatherland.
Said the Onishe of Ubulu uku kingdom: “Words fail me to come to terms with this monumental passage of a thoroughbred quintessential gentleman, a loyal party man and team player, whose driving passion for service to his community Agbor and by extension, lka was the overall development and human capacity success of his people. As a federal lawmaker representing Ika, he excelled. As the Akinuwa of Agbor Kingdom, he was in close touch with his people, offering them his best, both in material and human endowment. He was a strong advocate of social justice and equality for the masses. We have lost a beacon of hope.”
While commiserating with the Ojougboh family, the Ika nation, Deltans and the APC family, Chief Ejiofor prayed to God to grant the deceased statesman eternal rest and peace profound.
