A newly launched security outfit, “Operation Delta Hawk ” has yesterday, Tuesday, December 22, reportedly shot dead an innocent woman within Summit junction in Asaba.
It was alleged that a team of the Operation Delta Hawk, stopped two boys who were driving a vehicle without a plate number. It was speculated that the vehicle was said to be newly purchased.
According to information gathered, the police harassment of the young men got them scared as the boys drove off for their safety.
It was also gathered that the police started shooting directly at the boys living one of them injured while one of the bullets hits and kills a woman who was doing her normal business in the area.
At the time of filing this report, the body of the woman has been deposited in the mortuary.
