The White Witches Association of Nigeria, WWAN, has sent a message to Vice President Yemi Osinbajo, not to contest the 2023 presidential election.
They said God did not call him to become Nigeria’s President in 2023; hence he would not win if he decided to contest.
The spokesperson of the witches, a former board member of the Edo State Traditional Council during the tenure of Adams Oshiomhole, Dr. Iboi Okhue said God did not send Osinbajo to run for the presidency rather, God sent him for a particular mission.
According to the spokesperson, he said the Vice President would conclude the mission God sent him on May 29, 2023.
Okhue advised the Vice President to retreat to the pulpit where God has a higher assignment for him than being the “Head of State.”
He told The Independent that “God sent him to deliver a message to Nigerians. He has done that and he should go back to the church. God will use him in a bigger way other than being the head of the state. As there are indications that Osinbajo may run for the Presidency in 2023.
But, Laolu Akande, the vice president’s spokesperson, dismissed such claims, stressing that his principal was focused on working with President Muhammadu Buhari.
