Peruzzi during a session with Joey Akin in Afrobeats Intelligence revealed that he hasn’t gone to church since meeting with Davido but stated that he still believes in God.
According to Peruzzi, he hasn’t been to church for like four years while narrating how he was once a keyboardist in Assemblies of God Church during his days of being in the choir.
He said, “Yeah, Assemblies Of God Church, I play keyboard, Acappella if you are not playing instruments.”
Peruzzi explained that if you are playing instruments, it has to be the full thing because everybody is singing, backing up, and harmonizing.
The DMW signee also explained that he learned how to harmonize treble, alto, tenor, bass, everything that will make the music sweet.
The singer revealed that his whole life experience is based on his childhood foundation stating he has always seen himself as a star before meeting with anyone in the industry.
Peruzzi said, “I knew there was a wave, it been like that, I started preparing myself for it because I always knew that if you want to get somewhere, you need to prepare yourself for it. It wasn’t fake because I don’t rock any fake shit but I faked being a star.
He continued that, “I used to act like people are watching me. I didn’t have any drip but I’d make sure that I’m not wearing any fake Gucci, I’m not wearing any fake Versace. I wear a plain white shirt.”
