Villagers have been seen worshipping an unbelievable calf born with an extra eye on its forehead and four in India.
The cow which was born on January 14, 2022, has been regarded as a “divine miracle” by the villagers as they queued to worship it after it was claimed to be a reincarnation of the Hindu God known as Shiva.
Sputnik reported that some residents of the village of Chhattisgarh in Rajnandgaon District of India claimed that the three-eyed calf is a reincarnation of Viswanatha, a God known for having an eye on their forehead.
According to Sputnik, a large number of people flocked from nearby villages to worship the cow, believing it to be the rebirth of Shiva.
It was gathered that a large crowd of people offered incense sticks, coconuts, and money as per the custom of their culture.
Some of the locals said the timing of the calf’s birth, which was born at the beginning of Makar Sankranti, the Hindu festival of harvesting, is not a coincidence, because many believed the arrival of the calf to be of religious significance.
Meanwhile, Neelkumar Verma, one of the villagers who spoke to the Indian News Agency, ANI, said: “I have never seen any three-eyed being. Only Lord Shiva had it. It is a divine miracle. An incarnation of the Lord himself.”
However, while the birth of the animal was linked to the Hindu God, a veterinary doctor has thought differently with the comparison.
The Doctor, Kamlesh Chaudhary, said that such cases should not be regarded as miraculous, stating that such things sometimes happen due to unnatural consequences of the embryo.
