Galatasaray has reached an agreement with Napoli to cover €9 to €10 million of Victor Osimhen’s salary as part of a loan deal that will see the Nigerian striker move to the Turkish club until the end of the season. Notably, the loan arrangement does not include any buy option or obligation clause, meaning Osimhen is expected to return to Napoli at the end of the loan period.
As part of the deal, Galatasaray has already booked a flight for Osimhen, pending final agreements on the player’s side. The Turkish club’s representatives are currently in Naples to secure the final go-ahead from Osimhen before his anticipated travel to Istanbul.
The completion of this loan deal could significantly bolster Galatasaray’s attacking options as they aim for success in both domestic and European competitions. Final details are still being ironed out, but the agreement marks a major move in the summer transfer market.
