Ovwor, Delta State – Tensions have erupted in the Ovwor community of Ughelli North Local Government Area, leading to multiple casualties following a dispute over the timing of the annual feast.
The newly appointed chief priest requested that the event be held in August, while a prominent local chief insisted it be postponed until December.
