Ukah appointment as SSG, a collective victory – Delta NIPR

The Delta State Chapter of the Nigerian Institution of Public Relations, NIPR, has commended its chairman, Chief Patrick Ukah, mnipr, on his appointment as the Secretary to the Delta State government (SSG).

The Delta NIPR facilitated with its chairman in a statement signed by its Vice-Chairman, Mr. Godfrey Osakwe on Friday.

According to the statement, Osakwe stressed that they are grateful to God Almighty and His Excellency, Sen. Dr. Ifeanyi Okowa for finding it worthy to appoint the Delta State NIPR Chairman as the new SSG.

In the statement, the proactive Vice Chairman of the institution, a devoted Christian also prayed for Chief Ukah to shine more in his new role than ever before and to make them proud.

While congratulating the NIPR Chairman on his appointment, Mr. Osakwe also congratulates the institute on what he described as a collective victory stating that “Step by Step we are moving on. This new position is an exciting feat.” he added.

Also in the statement, Mr. Osakwe explained that the commendation came shortly after the current Head of Service and acting SSG, Mr. R.O.E Bayoko issued a public statement that His Excellency, Sen. Dr. Ifeanyi Okowa has approved the appointment of Chief Ukah as the Delta State government secretary.

He also added that the inauguration ceremony will be conducted alongside nine other new appointees on Monday, June 7, at the unity hall in Government House, Asaba the Delta State capital.

Before his appointment, Chief Ukah who was a capable hand in the private and public sector was the former Delta State Commissioner for Basic Education and also the former Commissioner for Information in the Okowa administration.
