Abuja, Nigeria – President Bola Tinubu has set up a special team to plan a big youth conference for Nigeria. The goal is to bring young people together to share ideas on how to improve the country.
Speaking in Abuja on Monday, President Tinubu told the young people that their voices matter.
“Look me in the face and tell me what you think is wrong or what should change. We will try to make it happen if it will help our country grow,” he said.
The president promised that his government would create more opportunities for young Nigerians. He said this would help reduce the number of people leaving the country in search of better jobs.
“This is your home to build and develop,” Tinubu told them. “Politics is about making life better for the next generation.”
He also spoke about Nigeria’s economy, saying things are improving.
“At first, it was tough, like trying to get water from a dry well. But now, things are getting better. Prices are going down, and more businesses are interested in Nigeria,” Tinubu explained.
The president encouraged young Nigerians to take advantage of new technology and opportunities in the country’s growing economy.
