Every day, many people around the world face challenges—some struggle to get an education, others have little or no access to healthcare, and many young people lack the support they need to succeed. But one man, Comrade Peter Onyeisi Marvellous, popularly known as Mr. Marvis decided to make a difference. On February 14, 2020, he founded the Marvis Foundation, a charitable organization dedicated to helping people and making the world a better place.
Transforming Lives Through Outreach
Since its establishment, the Marvis Foundation has carried out numerous humanitarian efforts, bringing hope to those in need. The foundation has visited several schools, providing writing materials to students and educating them. This outreach is still ongoing, ensuring that more children have the tools they need to learn.
According to the founder, “We have done many things in the past—helping the less privileged, covering hospital bills, paying school fees, sewing uniforms, and empowering widows and widowers.”
The foundation remains committed to reaching more people, ensuring that no one is left behind.

The Marvis Foundation is built on six important goals, represented by the word SPEEDY. Each letter stands for something special that the foundation is working to achieve:
- (S) Support Children and Adolescents – Ensuring that young people receive the education and support they need to thrive.
- (P) Promote Healthcare – Providing access to medical care for those who cannot afford it.
- (E) Empower the Less Privileged – Giving individuals the tools and resources to build a better future.
- (E) Educate the Public – Spreading knowledge and awareness to create a more informed society.
- (D) Develop New Solutions – Innovating new ways to tackle societal challenges.
- (Y) Youth Empowerment – Supporting young people to become future leaders and agents of change.
Challenges and Determination
Despite its remarkable impact, the Marvis Foundation faces major funding challenges. With numerous programs planned, a lack of financial resources has slowed down some initiatives. However, the foundation remains resilient, working hard, praying, and believing that things will improve.
Funding for the NGO comes from like-minded individuals who share the vision of creating a better society. “We tax ourselves and support in any way we can, no matter how little,” says Mr Marvis.
To overcome these challenges, the foundation continues to work hard, relying on divine guidance and the support of compassionate individuals.
