People in Kogi Central, a part of Kogi State, have started a process to remove their Senator, Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan, from office. They say they are not happy with how she is representing them in the Senate.
This is happening just a few weeks after Senator Natasha said the Senate President, Godswill Akpabio, harassed her.
The process will last for two days. During this time, people in five areas of Kogi Central will sign a petition asking the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) to remove her.
After getting the petition, INEC will check if the people who signed are truly registered voters in Kogi Central. If the petition is valid, they will continue with the process.
People in areas like Okehi, Okene, Ajaokuta, and Ogori/Magongo have already started signing.
