The Director-General of Signature Nigeria, Chinedu Enujeko, has called on Nigerian youths to mobilise support for the re-election of President Bola Tinubu and Delta State Governor Sheriff Oborevwori ahead of the next election cycle.
Enujeko made the call while addressing youth leaders and stakeholders from Delta North during a strategic engagement aimed at strengthening grassroots political mobilisation across the region.
Speaking in his capacity as Director-General of Signature Nigeria—an arm of the National Youth Council of Nigeria focused on coordinating political structures and activities—Enujeko emphasised the need for organised and structured youth participation in politics.
He urged young people in the Anioma region and beyond to actively engage in community-level mobilisation, noting that electoral victories are secured at polling units rather than on social media platforms.
“Elections are not won on social media but at the polling units. We must take this message back to our communities and mobilise effectively,” he said.
Enujeko expressed strong support for President Tinubu’s economic reforms, particularly the removal of fuel subsidy, describing it as a courageous step toward rebuilding the nation’s economy.
He likened the policy to planting a seed that requires time, patience, and proper nurturing to yield results, stressing that the President should be given the opportunity to see through his reform agenda.
According to him, ongoing policies under the Tinubu administration are geared toward restructuring the country, including efforts to decentralise power through initiatives such as state policing and resource control.
The Signature Nigeria DG also commended Governor Oborevwori for his development strides in Delta State, including investments in security infrastructure.
He noted that such efforts demonstrate preparedness for improved policing systems and enhanced safety across the state.
Enujeko explained that Signature Nigeria would serve as the central platform for coordinating mobilisation efforts in support of the President’s re-election, while working with regional stakeholders to strengthen grassroots engagement across Delta State.
He added that while the group is focused on supporting the President and the governor, it remains open to engaging other political aspirants who can demonstrate credible plans and strong leadership records.
The DG called on youths to embrace unity, inclusiveness, and active participation in the political process, stressing that collective effort is essential to achieving national development goals.
He described Signature Nigeria as an open and inclusive platform that encourages equal opportunities for all members, regardless of background, provided they contribute meaningfully to its objectives.
At the end of the engagement, participants expressed support for the leadership of Signature Nigeria and reaffirmed their commitment to the re-election bids of President Tinubu and Governor Oborevwori.
Observers say the move by Signature Nigeria signals increasing political mobilisation among youth groups ahead of future elections, particularly in Delta State, where grassroots influence is considered key to electoral success.
The development underscores the expanding role of organised youth platforms in shaping political narratives and driving participation in Nigeria’s democratic process.
