The Ondo State Police Command has arrested a woman identified as Queen Beatrice who killed her husband, Emmanuel Ikujuni for receiving a call from another woman.
The circumstance occurred at Omotosho in Okitipupa Local Government Area of Ondo State.
According to reports, the husband was attacked for receiving a call from another woman in the presence of his wife, a situation that emerged in which the woman uses a plank to hit her husband on the head.
Reports revealed that the
the husband was rushed to a nearby hospital by neighbors but he was reported dead before he could be admitted.
The reports also revealed that the corpse has been deposited at the mortuary while awaiting autopsy examination.
ASP Tee-Leo Ikoro, spokesperson of the Ondo Police command confirmed the report and said that investigation has commenced.
Meanwhile the deceased sister, Imoleayo Ikujuni, also narrated that the wife challenged her late brother for calling another lady.
She said, “During the fight, she hit him with a plank and he died instantly. They have arrested her. The suspect has been transferred to the State Criminal Investigation and Intelligence Department, SCIID, in Akure for further investigation”.
