A 51-years-old man identified as Marcelo Rochas Santos has been killed by a shark after he gets drunk and walked to pee at a beach.
It was gathered by Anaedoonline.ng that the incident occurred on Saturday, July 10, at Piedade Beach in the city of Jaboatao dos Guararapes in Brazil.
According to the report, the Shark tore off the man’s hand and bitten a large chunk out of his leg.
Anaedoonline.ng also reported that the mutilated corpse was pulled from the water after the shark had attacked him.
The report also claimed that Santos’s lifeless body was taken to a hospital in the neighboring city of Recife where he was later pronounced dead.
Narrating the ordeal, one Adriano Gomes, a mechanic told reporters that the victim had been drinking with his friends before he entered the water at around 2 pm when the sky is cloudy and while the sea was becoming turbulent.
Gomez said, “It was a friend of mine Glazier Ademir Sebastiao, who was in the sea with the person that was attacked. Suddenly, he saw the man struggling. There was a lot of blood in the water.”
Sebastian said “As the beach has no bathroom, he went into the sea to pee. I was beside him with the water up to our waists when the attack took place.
However, friends of Marcelo brought him out to the shore where he fell to the ground unconsciously.
