On Tuesday, March 30, the men of the underworld with different kinds of weapons including dynamite stormed the Issle-UK branch of the United Bank for Africa (UBA) leaving it devastated.
It was gathered that the armed robbers arrived at the Bank at about the closing hours in three vehicles as they were seen opening fire in a commando-style leaving the whole town in jittery condition.
According to a Correspondent that arrived at the scene immediately after the robbers left, gathered that about three persons were allegedly shot dead.
The Correspondent also alleged that the DPO of the Divisional Headquarters could not be reached at press time, stating that the road leading to the Police Division was also barricaded to prevent the police from disturbing them.
However, it will be recorded that the incident marks the third time UBA in Issele-uku was been robbed.
