Christiano Ronaldo and his wife, Georgina Rodriguez, have lost one of their newly born twins.
The couple announced the death of their baby in a post on Ronaldo’s Instagram page on Monday.
According to the post, the couple described the death of their baby as the “greatest pain parent can feel.”
Also in the post, the couple thanked the medical team for their “care and support” before the demise of their son.
The post reads “It is with the deepest sadness that we have to announce that our baby boy has passed away,” the post read.
“It’s the greatest pain any parent can feel. Only the birth of our baby girl gives us the strength to live this moment with some hope and happiness. We would like to thank the doctors and nurses for all their care and support.
“We are all devastated at this loss and we kindly ask for privacy at this very difficult time. Our boy, you are our angel. We will always love you.”
Recall, that the 37-year-old football star already has four children before the couple announced, in October 2021, that they were expecting twins.
Ronaldo and Georgina have been married since 2016 with a daughter Alana, 3, and Georgina, 28. They also has a son Cristiano Jnr, 11, and Eva and Mateo, who are also twins aged four.
