Mavin Records signee, Rema, has dropped his debut album ‘Rave & Roses’ featuring Chris Brown.
The album dropped on Friday with 16 tracks and features like 6lack, Chris Brown, AJ Tracy, and Yseult.
Rema first dropped his eponymous debut EP ‘Rema’ which peaked at number 1 on Apple Music Nigeria in 2019, after he signed a record deal with D’Prince’s Jonzing World, a subsidiary of Mavin Records,
In May 2021, he called his sound Afrorave, a subgenre of Afrobeats with a pinch of Arabian and Indian music.
Also in 2019, he won the ‘Next Rated’ award and was nominated for Viewers Choice at the 13th edition of the Headies.
He was also nominated during the 2020 BET Awards as ‘Best Viewers Choice: International Act alongside Burna Boy and Wizkid.
In January 2020, he received the Soundcity MVP Awards for ‘Best New Artist.
