The Nigeria Police Force has announced April 12, 2025, as the official start date for training successful candidates in the ongoing recruitment of constables.
The Police Service Commission (PSC) confirmed this in a statement on Sunday, urging applicants who participated in the recent medical screening, held from February 26 to March 12, to check their application status.
According to the PSC spokesperson, Ikechukwu Ani, successful candidates must print their training call-up slip from the recruitment portal https://apply.policerecruitment.gov.ng when it opens on March 31. They are required to report to their designated training institutions on the date and time stated on the slip for documentation.
The documentation period will run from April 12 to April 19. Candidates who fail to report within this timeframe will forfeit their offer.
Candidates are expected to arrive in a white T-shirt and shorts and must bring their call-up slip, application form, NIN slip, BVN slip, original and photocopies of certificates, and other required documents as listed on the portal.
PSC Chairman Hashimu Argungu congratulated the successful applicants and encouraged them to remain committed to securing lives and property.
