Nollywood veteran actor, Olu Jacobs, has won the Lifetime Achievement Award at the 2021 Africa International Film Festival (AFRIFF).
His actress wife, Ajoke Silva, shared the picture of them receiving the award on her Instagram page on Sunday with the caption “Lifetime achievement award winner, sir Olu Jacobs.”
AFRIFF, an annual showcase of the world of filmmaking, the event took place from November 7 to 13.
The annual event glimpses the participation of local and international actors, directors, film critics, buyers, distributors, visual artists, film students, and equipment manufacturers.
Before now, Jacobs has been in the news on different circumstances over death rumors.
In 2020, the Actors Guild of Nigeria (AGN) had referred the statements to “mischief-makers”.
