The Ndokwa Media Professionals Forum (NMPF) has been officially inaugurated, creating a new platform for media practitioners of Ndokwa origin to unite, collaborate, and contribute to the growth of their communities.
The Forum was established to give Ndokwa journalists, broadcasters, writers, and online media practitioners a credible and united voice in the media space. It also aims to strengthen their capacity, foster professional growth, and make meaningful contributions to the development of Ndokwa Nation.
The interim leadership of the Forum includes Comrade Barth Inneh-Ozah as Interim Chairman, Comrade Odili Ogochukwu as Interim Secretary, and Comrade Emmanuel Enebeli as Chairman of the Board of Trustees (BOT). The group has also been formally registered with the Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC), giving it legal recognition.
The NMPF has outlined several key objectives, which include:
- Promoting the growth and visibility of Ndokwa Nation in the media.
- Building strong relationships with government agencies, institutions, and stakeholders.
- Encouraging peace, unity, and collaboration among media professionals.
- Organizing training sessions, seminars, and workshops to improve members’ skills.
- Supporting the welfare and professional development of members.
- Strengthening social ties and solidarity within the profession.
- Advancing media development both within and beyond Ndokwa land.
The interim leadership has invited all Ndokwa sons and daughters working in print, broadcast, or online media to join the Forum. According to the leadership, the body is structured to serve as a rallying point for credible information, professional advancement, and societal progress.
In a joint statement signed by Comrade Barth Inneh-Ozah (Interim Chairman) and Comrade Odili Ogochukwu (Interim Secretary), the Forum pledged its commitment to peace, unity, and development in both the media profession and Ndokwa land at large.
