Nigerian controversial evangelist and founder of Rapture Proclaimer Evangelical Church of God (RAPEC), Funmilayo Adebayo, popularly known as Mummy GO, has argued that saying hello is demonic.
She also said it is a slogan for hell.
Hello is mainly used as a salutation to begin a phone talk, but Mummy GO in one of her teachings which has gone viral on social media, has claimed hello “is a language and slogan of hell.”
She also confirmed this after a Bishop from Ghana argued with her.
According to her, she said “A bishop from Ghana was arguing with me. He said ‘Evangelist Funmi, we are listening to your message but don’t say nonsense. Don’t teach us wrong things. I said what is the wrong thing that I taught.”
“He said ‘you said if somebody said hello, it is demonic. It is not good. I said yes sir, I said so. I never denied it.
“He then asked, what about our Lord’s prayer… ‘our father who art in heaven, hallowed…’ I said it’s hallowed not hello.
“By the time you remove letter o from hello, what is remaining? Hell! So, I greet you in the morning or you call me and I just mention hell! It is a language of hell, a slogan of hell.”
Mummy GO became a viral phenomenon after many videos of her strange and harsh sermons emerged online.
She had first alleged that some of the viral videos of her preachings about hell were fabricated.
