Nigerian music label, Mavin Records has unveiled its latest signee, Lofesuze Teddy, with the stage name, Lifesize Teddy who is a singer and a rapper.
She released an eponymous Extended Playlist upon her signing, and she comes to be the first female rap artiste to be signed to the record label since its inception in 2012.
The founder and Chief Executive Officer of the company, Don Jazzy made this known through a post he shared on his social media pages on Thursday.
Sharing the post, Don Jazzy captioned it “Unveiling a new artist is a reminder of how an artist has let themselves go through the laid down process of the Mavin academy, the testament of our faith in them and the coming together of our hard work.
With the power vested in me by the Supreme Mavin Dynasty, It’s my pleasure to introduce you to Mavin’s latest signee. Rapper, poet, singer, and songwriter Lifesize Teddy. Pls, follow and welcome @lifesize_teddy.”
Immediately after the announcement, many fans of the Mavin crew stormed the social media pages of the new signee to show support, likewise, other Mavin artists, including Ayra Starr, Johnny Drille, and Ladipoe, have taken turns welcoming the new artiste.
Commenting on Don Jazzy’s post, Ayra Starr wrote, “To the world”; while Crayon wrote, “Superstar, it’s up now”! Bayanni wrote, “It’s time, Teddy. Go”
Johnny Drille wrote, “Welcome to the family, Lifesize Teddy. So excited for the world to experience your genius. Rooting for you the whole way.”
