Super Eagles coach Eric Chelle has picked 23 players to represent Nigeria in two important matches for the 2026 World Cup qualifiers.
Earlier, he had selected 39 players, but he has now reduced the number.
Two well-known players, Ahmed Musa and Kelechi Iheanacho, were not included in the final squad. Many fans had talked about Musa’s selection in the first list, but now he has been left out.
However, important players like Victor Osimhen, Alex Iwobi, Wilfred Ndidi, and Ademola Lookman are still part of the team.
The Super Eagles will play against Rwanda on March 21 in Kigali. Then, they will face Zimbabwe on March 25 in Uyo, Nigeria.
