A man identified as Stanley Kolokolo who was beaten mercilessly for alleged theft has been found after a woman showed interest in empowering him.
According to a report, the young man last week stole clothes from a shop located at cemetery road in Sapele, Delta State.
Stanley who claimed that he was sent by some street boys to steal clothes for them, was caught and beaten to pulp by the shop owner and other people.
A video of the boy in a pathetic condition following the beating he received was posted online. A Facebook user, Kate Keke was moved and decided to help him.
“Sometimes our situation leads us to do things that are not right. We would like to empower him. Please help us get this boy.” she said.
The boy was finally located by Sapele Times and his photo was shared on Facebook.
“We just won inform una say, the boy wey we dey find, we done finally see am. He name na Stanley Kolokolo and na urban area he dey stay.
By the grace of God, the NGO and good samaritan wey won help empower am, go visit am soon. Abeg, make we all commot hand from bad thing, if you nor get, try to borrow from your neighbors, don’t steal to avoid shame and disgrace.
