Singer, Omah Lay has taken a swipe at Ruger and Victony amidst a supremacy battle, calling them kids who chase clouts.
Trouble started after Ruger said that BNXN is not better than him during an argument. He bragged that he had single hits as described in relation to BNXN, a statement that provoked Omah Lay.
According to Ruger’s statement, he argued that “I love Buju he’s good but he’s not better than me. Everything I’ve done since the beginning was only Ruger. All my hits are Just Ruger. I’m always proud going on stage around the world with my own hits and everyone is singing along. You see the difference?” He added.
The tweet has stirred mixed reactions on Twitter as users express different opinions.
Reacting to Ruger’s comparison, singer Omah Lay accused him of “chasing clouts” and also hit on Victony for responding to his earlier tweet with lol.
Omah Lay who just released his debut album ‘Boy Alone’ wrote on Twitter “Ruger get mind dey talk about bnxn like that for this app smh!! Mofos do anything for clout out here, same way Victony lol my tweet the other time, y’all are really kids, he added in the tweet.
Omah Lay, Ruger, Bnxn, and Victony are fast-raising singers who have come to be a household names in the Nigerian music industry and across Africa.
