Two women selling fufu has been kidnapped along the Ayetoro-Olorunda road in Imala, Abeokuta-North Local Government Area of Ogun State.

Two relatives of the abducted victims,

According to a source, the kidnappers demanded the sum of N5million ransom each from the two victims before they could set them free

The source said that the kidnappers are suspected to be Fulani herdsmen, who entrapped the traders on Saturday, at about 4:45 am in an area around Olorunda, kidnapping about five people including the driver of the vehicle, one Kamorudeen Olateju, and the traders.

The source also said that the driver, who also known as Charger was whisked him away with the passengers he was conveying from Ayetoro in Yewa North LGA to Abeokuta, the state capital.

The source also revealed how the kidnappers took advantage of the failed portion on the road. Allegedly that, they emerged from the bush and took the two traders away into the bush as their commercial vehicle slowed down to navigate the failed portion.
