JAMB SAYS 527,815 SPACES NOT FILLED

The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board said 527,815 admission spaces into tertiary institutions were not utilised in the 2018/2019 admission year.

The board said there were 143,338 spaces not filled in universities, while 52,735 were not utilised in polytechnics. For Colleges of Education, there were 319,405 spaces and 12,337 spaces in Innovation Enterprise Institutions.
