JAMB Releases 2025 UTME Results – Here’s How You Can Check Yours!

The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has officially released the results of the 2025 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME). If you wrote the exam or know someone who did, here’s some big news!

This year, 1,955,069 students took the UTME. But only 420,415 of them scored above 200, according to the results shared by JAMB on Monday. That means 75% of the students scored less than 200. Even more surprising, less than 1% scored above 300, which is the highest possible range!

JAMB also shared that 40,247 underage students were allowed to write the UTME to test their talents. However, only 467 of them scored high enough to be considered as having exceptional ability. More tests will be done to fully check their performance.

The UTME started on Thursday, April 24, 2025, and now, all candidates can check their results using two simple methods: online or through SMS.

Step-by-Step Guide to Check Your 2025 UTME Result

  1. Using the Website (Online Method): Here’s how you can check your result on JAMB’s official website:
  • Step 1: Open a web browser on your phone, tablet, or computer.
  • Step 2: Go to this link: https://efacility.jamb.gov.ng/login
  • Step 3: Log in using the email and password you used to register for JAMB.
  • Step 4: Click on “Check UTME Results” once you are logged in.
  • Step 5: Your scores for each subject will appear on the screen.
  1. Using SMS (Text Message Method): If you don’t have internet, you can still check your result with just a text message:
  • Step 1: Open the messaging app on your phone.
  • Step 2: Type this message: RESULT (all capital letters), followed by your JAMB Registration Number.
  • Step 3: Send the message to 55019 or 66019.
  • Step 4: You’ll receive a message with your scores for each subject.

Note:

  • This SMS method costs ₦50, which will be removed from your phone’s airtime.
  • Make sure your phone has enough airtime before sending the message.

That’s it! If you took the UTME, good luck with your result! If you didn’t get the score you wanted, don’t worry — you still have many chances to do well in the future.
