Nigerian singer and DMW signee, Mayorkun, has revealed his interest to collaborate with global music superstars, Drake and Eminem.
The 27-year-old singer also talked about his relationship with Davido, his latest album ‘Back In Office’, and those who inspired him.
Mayorkun made this revelation recently during an interactive session with ‘That Grape Juice’ after performing his latest song ‘Holy Father’ featuring Victony.
Talking about those who inspired him, he said “Bob Marley and King Sunny Ade are the people I listen to then. If you talk about now, I would day Davido and Wizkid.”
According to him, he said “Davido has inspired me as a musician and human being. I lived with him for like two-three years. He is like my big bro.”
He added that Davido has inspired the way he writes and moves in the music industry.
When asked about his dream collaborations, Mayorkun mentioned the Canadian rapper and singer while stating that “everybody wants to work with Drake.”
He also mentioned US rapper, Eminem for some weird reason.
In 2016, he was discovered by Davido, and ever since then, the singer has continued to pull strings in the Nigerian music industry and has won several awards and recognitions for his name.
Recall in 2018, he won the ‘Next Rated’ category at the Headies awards.
