The Local Government Chairman for Ndokwa West Local Government Area in Delta State and the immediate past Secretary of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), Chief Obi Goddey Nzete, has pleaded to the party exco to bolster its fold in the Wards level by promoting party activities.
Nzete made this known in Kwale when the Ndokwa West Local Government Area executive led by Chief Lucky Okwuji visited him at the LGA headquarters.
During the visit, Nzete appreciated the party exco for their assistance in the council election while also call on party leaders in the LGA to forgive one another stating that the party is supreme and should respect accordingly.
The council boss explained that his administration is prepared to work with all stakeholders to reinforce the party for it not to loses its member to the other parties as he call for partnership to move the party forward.
Also, he called on all stakeholders to join hands with his leadership to halt the endless killings of people in LGA which according to him have made several efforts towards settling cult-related killings in various communities since he attains his office stating that all hands must be on deck to end the unreasonable homicide of youths.
While responding, Chief Okwuji acknowledged God for the party accomplishment at the council poll and also requested the chairman to proceed thus stimulate the unity required to enable the party to centralize its grip ahead of the 2023 general elections.
