How Delta CP deploys 1715 police officers, urge residents to be security conscious during Eid-el-Fitr

The Delta State Commissioner of Police, CP Ari Muhammed Ali, FCIA, psc, has deployed 1715 police officers to all Muslim worship centers both the nooks and crannies of the state to step up secure lives and properties while maintaining peace and order at this time of Eld el Fitr celebration.

This was made known in a statement by the acting Spokesperson of the command, DSP Edafe Bright, on Tuesday, May 11.

According to the statement, the Commissioner extends his warmest felicitation to all the Muslim Ummah residents in the state who are celebrating this auspicious occasion of this year’s Eld el Fitr.

The CP stated that the month of Ramadan does not only bring blessing but also believed it instills the values of patients needed in our daily lives.

The CP explained that the lesson from the season will enable us to shun all differences and exhorts us to promote harmony with the aim of love and affection for each other according to the teaching of Allah.

Also, to maintain peace and harmony, the CP further urges members of the public to continue to assist and collaborate with the Police and other security agencies to enable them to serve the people of the state better.

CP Ari Muhammed also admonished the people of the state to be security-conscious and take appropriate measures towards personal protection and their personal effects, not only at home but also in public places such as markets, worship centers, shopping malls, and highways.

However, the CP enjoined everyone engaging in the celebration to please adhere to all Covid-19 protocols at all times, to help curtail the spread of the pandemic while also encourage everyone to spread the blessings and happiness of the Eid celebration.
