A yet be identified persons attempted to burglarize the residence of Ibrahim Gambari, the Chief of Staff to President Muhammadu Buhari.
It was gathered that the residence was located in a street next to the Aso Rock Villa and it was burgled in the early hours of Monday.
This was disclosed on Twitter by the Senior Special Assistant to the President on Media and Publicity, Garba Shehu, on Monday night.
According to Garba Shehu tweet, he tweeted that “The Chief of Staff, Professor Ibrahim Gambari has confirmed that there ‘was a foolish attempt’ to burgle his residence at 3:00 this morning but it turned out to be unsuccessful.
“Professor Gambari, whose house is on a street next to the Villa has assured that there is nothing to worry about from the incident.”
