Gunmen razed Nsukwa Police Headquarters in Aniocha South Local Government Area of Delta State and killed three police officers.
It was gathered that the incident happened on Sunday at about 1:00 pm.
According to a source, the gunmen shot sporadically from the thick forest behind the station for almost an hour before arriving at the station by foot.
The source also said that the three slain policemen were Inspector, Sergeant, and a Corporal but the identities are yet to be known.
However, the situation of the detainee at the station is yet to be ascertained at the time of filing this report.
Meanwhile, the Spokesperson for the State Police Command, DSP. Edafe Bright has not responded to the incident as of press time.
