Nigerian Super Falcons and Barcelona striker, Asisat Oshoala, has been nominated for the 2022 Women’s Ballon d’Or.
Her nomination was made known on Friday via the Ballon d’Or official page on Twitter.
For the Ballon d’Or prize, she will go up against tough players like Sam Kerr, Vivianne Miedema, Beth Mead, and Alex Morgan.
Oshoala made up the list with her extraordinary performance after generating 20 goals in 19 appearances despite being injured for over three months.
In June, She won the African Women’s Player of the Year for the fifth time.
