Nigerian film star, Frederick Leonard, has said no one should preach to him about getting his Permanent Voters Cards (PVCs).
He said this while reacting to individuals who urged people to get their PVC ahead of the 2023 general elections that will usher in a new president.
According to him, a lot of individuals are already persuading the masses to get their PVCs to vote their desired candidates into power.
But Leonard on Sunday, January 16, 2022, in his Twitter handles, criticized the importance of getting PVCs in some quarters, stating that has not produced any desired outcomes in the past
The Nollywood actor added that no one should preach to him about getting his PVC.
He added that Nigerians should rather seek to understand the problems in the past elections and spread energy towards changing the narrative.
In his post which he wrote in a combination of English and Pidgin, the film star said “Did I just hear get your PVC again? Please what happened to the ones we got seven years ago and very recently… three years ago? Chai, my darling Naija.”
“May we open our eyes, mind, and sense to see what the problem is, and call it what it is… Please, no brainwashed person should preach PVC to me! the film star wrote.
