Four students kidnap by gunmen in Plateau, three escape after security reinforcement

Gunmen on Thursday morning attack Capro Secondary Mission School, an arm of Calvary ministry located at Gana Ropp in Barkin Ladi Local Government Area of Plateau State, and abducted four students.

Three among the students, however, have escaped while one is still in captivity.

It was gathered that the gunmen broke the rear fence of the school to gain access into the school compound and abducted the students.

Confirming the incident, a global mission leader and President of Para-Mallam Peace Foundation, Reverend Gideon Para-Mallam stated that the gunmen drilled a hole through the rear fence of the school, broke into the school compound to abduct the students.

According to him, the intervention of the security agencies prevents what could have been another mass abduction, stating that three students escaped after the reinforcement of securities in the location.

Meanwhile, no statement has been made by the Plateau State Police Command on the incident but efforts are ongoing to secure the abducted student.
