Dr. Alhaji Attahiru Muhammad Ahmed, Emir of Anka and Chairman of Zamfara State Council of Chiefs has again warned against polygamy.
The monarch claimed that polygamy is responsible for the falling standard of education in the country.
He disclosed this during a meeting with seventeen emirs of the state.
The chairman, Zamfara State Universal Education Board, Alhaji Abubakar Aliyu Maradun in Gusau, the Emir of Anka who had earlier linked poverty to polygamy, urged Muslim Ummahs to ensure they give their children quality and quantitative education in western and Islamic education.
He furthermore reiterated the traditional rulers’ support to providing quality education to the people through the Universal Basic Education Board in Zamfara State.
