British iconic singer, Elton John has said it’d be an honor for him to make music with Burna Boy.
He also said that Burna Boy’s music is “so fantastic” that it makes him feel “really happy”.
The 75-year-old songwriter made his intention known when Burna Boy was featured on the recent episode of the ‘Rock Hour’ on Apple Music. A conversation that centered on the growth of African music and his latest Album “Love Damini”.
According to the award-winning pianist and composer, he said ” Well, personally I would love to do something in the studio with you. I’m on a world tour at the moment but when things calm down, if you ever want to do a song with me, i’d be.”
“You are the one artist that I really would love to do something with, because you really make me happy, and your music is just so fantastic. It would be an honour for me to do that,” He added.
Responding, the “Last Last” singer expressed his excitement to work with the celebrated singer stating that “I have been looking forward to that for so long”.
Burna Boy, who couldn’t hide his feelings, took to his Instagram page to share a video of him replaying the jingle multiple times.
Well, this isn’t the first time Elton John is publicizing the ‘African Giant’ music because, in August 2019, he also made it public that he is a big listener of Burna Boy’s songs.
Elton John is considered one of the best-selling artists of all time. In his music career passing over six decades, he has sold over 300 million records worldwide.
He has achieved five Grammy Awards, and five Brit Awards; including Outstanding Contribution to Music; two Academy Awards, and two Golden Globes.
He also has a Tony Award, a Laurence Olivier Award, a Disney Legends Award, and the Kennedy Center Honour.
