The launch is scheduled for Sunday, June 22, 2025, at 3:30 PM, and will take place at Knight House, Bishopcourt, Asaba, Delta State.
The event promises to be a memorable and impactful gathering, with the presence of distinguished spiritual leaders, community icons, and passionate supporters. It will feature thought-provoking discussions centered around service, compassion, and community development.
Leading clerics expected at the launch include:
- The Most Reverend Dr. Owen Chidozie Nwokolo, Bishop of the Niger Diocese
- The Right Reverend Godfrey I. Ekpenisi, Bishop of Ika Diocese
- The Right Reverend Festus Uzorka Nwafili
The foundation’s vision is being championed by Engr. Chike Nwosu (KSC), who serves as the NGO Projector and Promoter, bringing his expertise and humanitarian passion into building a sustainable structure that supports vulnerable and underserved communities.
Distinguished community members will also be honored at the event, including Ezinna Samuel Okeleke and Ezinna G.C.O. Ikemefula as Fathers of the Day, and Ezinne Edna Ndili alongside Dame Patience Nkem Okwuofu as Mothers of the Day.
The event is organized under the spiritual leadership of The Right Reverend Kingsley Chukwukamadu Obuh, Bishop of the Diocese of Asaba, who continues to steer the church’s mission toward real community impact and faith in action.
While the foundation of this vision is firmly anchored in leadership, organizers acknowledge that the success of the launch depends on the collective efforts of many dedicated individuals who share in the mission to uplift lives.
The Diocese of Asaba Agape Foundation (DAAF) is committed to driving positive change through various humanitarian initiatives. The upcoming launch is more than a ceremonial event — it is a bold statement of intent to align faith with community needs. Members of the public are cordially invited, and their presence would lend great support to this noble cause.
