The Rector of Delta State Polytechnic, Ogwashi-Uku, Builder Professor Emmanuel Achuenu, has been honored with a Service Award for his exceptional leadership, dedication, and service to the institution and Delta State at large.
The award was presented by the Federated Union of Community Newspaper Publishers of Nigeria (FUCNPON) in his office on Thursday, July 24, 2025.
The award recognizes Prof. Achuenu’s outstanding contributions to education and public service, his commitment to excellence, and his exemplary character in leadership.
While receiving the award, Prof. Achuenu expressed sincere gratitude, dedicating the honor to his family, colleagues, students, and supporters. He also took the opportunity to pray for growth, greater visibility, and wisdom for the members of the publishers’ union.
